Good article. I would also highly recommend try out NixOS for server. It is extremely easy repelicate the environment on every machine, especially with Flake. But as daily driver, I dont have good experience with NixOS. It feel like I have more unexpected issue (especially network related) than solving my problem.

Now I just need resources to learn the Nix language and what options are available to setup my system. I’d gladly try it again.

Yep its been a game-changer for me i used to use arch linux for the longest time but when i switched to nixos i could use the EXACT SAME os on both my Nvidia Laptop and Amd Desktop the only problem i have is please get flakes out of beta!
