Nintendo announced it will discontinue its My Nintendo Gold Points rewards program on March 24. Purchases made via the eShop will no longer earn Gold Points after this date. Users can still redeem Gold Points for 12 months after they are earned. The discontinuation may be linked to the upcoming launch of the Switch 2 console and its new dynamics with rewards and game vouchers.
