The Varnish HTTP cache project has rebranded to Vinyl Cache, and the Arch Linux package has been updated accordingly. The old varnish package has been dropped from the [extra] repository and replaced with vinyl-cache. Users must manually migrate configuration directories, rename system users and groups, and switch from old systemd service units to new ones. The upstream change introduces breaking changes in version 9.0, and users are advised to review the official upgrade guide before proceeding.
