SQL Database Project Power Tools now includes a visual Rule Manager for configuring SQL static code analysis rules in Visual Studio and SSMS. Instead of manually editing XML project files with rule IDs and syntax, developers can use a dialog to enable/disable rules, change severity levels, filter by category, install community analyzers (130+ additional rules), and search rules by ID or description. The feature works with SDK-style SQL database projects using MSBuild.Sdk.SqlProj or the Microsoft SDK, and is available in SSMS 22+ as well.
