London-based Convergence has raised $12mn in pre-seed funding to develop personal AI agents capable of long-term memory-based learning. Founded by ex-Shopify and Cohere engineers, the startup aims to create Proxy AI agents to assist both employees and consumers in various tasks. Convergence's technology utilizes Large Meta Learning Models (LMLMs) to enable continuous learning and adaptability, positioning it for applications in fields like personalized medicine and adaptive education. The Proxy agent is launching its beta version today.
