Code Hike is a Next.js-based tool that lets developers create interactive coding tutorial videos using markdown files. Lessons are structured as steps, each showing code with syntax highlighting and a live preview. Content is driven entirely by markdown, with support for presets (reusable dependency/boilerplate bundles), code focus ranges (line and column-level), and multi-file panels. Once the lesson is set up, you record the screen with any recording software. The project is open source and cloneable.
