DeepComputing has announced the DC-ROMA, a new RISC-V AI PC that runs Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. The PC is based on the RISC-V Mainboard II, which features a 64-bit processor and offers up to 50 TOPS for AI tasks. It can be used as a standalone PC or integrated into Framework laptops. The system promises better AI processing but remains less mature than established architectures like ARM.
