Version 1.1 of the JIRA Database Values Plugin introduces several improvements: AJAX-based lookup for simple search mode, configurable rendering in history and activity views, support for statistics views (pie charts, 2D stats, group-by reports), customizable NULL value rendering, and a separate SQL query option for search. The release was tested against JIRA 4.1.2.
