The new open-source AWS ODBC Driver for MySQL is now available for Amazon RDS and Amazon Aurora MySQL-compatible edition database clusters. It supports faster switchover and failover times, and authentication with AWS Secrets Manager or IAM. The driver is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux and is released under GPL v2.
