The Linux 7.1 merge window has received media subsystem updates bringing new hardware support. Key additions include uvcvideo driver support for Intel RealSense D436 and D555 3D depth cameras with new metadata format bits and P010 pixel format. MIPI CSI support for Tegra20/Tegra30 SoCs is now upstream, along with new camera sensor drivers for T4ka3 and ov2732. NXP i.MX93, i.MX95, and i.MX8ULP SoC support has also been added. Hauppauge DTV device support is improved. Notably absent is the AMD ISP4 driver for HP ZBook Ultra G1a and future Ryzen AI laptops, which is expected to land in Linux 7.2.
