Taylor Otwell released a Laravel-specific plugin for Claude Code called Laravel Simplifier, adapted from Anthropic's original Code Simplifier. The plugin reviews code commits and suggests improvements based on Laravel standards and PSR-12. A demonstration shows it identifying issues like missing return types, validation rule improvements, and potential silent failures in generated code. The plugin is open source and available for multiple AI coding tools including Claude Code, Cursor, and OpenCode through Laravel Boost.
