New in Laravel 13: Added 36 (!) PHP Attributes

Laravel 13 introduces 36 new PHP attributes as an optional alternative syntax for defining Eloquent model properties (fillable, hidden, guarded), queue job settings (tries, timeout, backoff), Artisan command signatures, routing middleware, and controller authorization. The new default User model in Laravel 13 starter kits uses these attributes out of the box, though developers can still use traditional class properties. Pre-existing attributes like ObservedBy, ScopedBy, and UseFactory are also highlighted.
