EdenSpark is a new game engine from Gaijin Entertainment (creators of War Thunder) now in public beta. Built on top of their internal Dagger Engine, it targets casual and community-driven game creation with a platform similar to Sandbox. Games are scripted using Daslang (formerly DaScript), a high-performance statically-typed language embeddable in C++ apps. Currently the engine lacks a level editor — all scene construction is done in code using prefabs — but a scene viewer is available at runtime. The roadmap includes multiplayer support in spring, a v1 release in summer with analytics and leaderboards, full AI assistant integration, and open-source release of the PC version in fall. Console support (PS5, Xbox) and console-side development are also planned. The engine is free to download at edenspark.io.
