Stop Slop is a skill file for Claude Code (and compatible tools like Cursor) that detects and eliminates common AI writing patterns from prose. It targets overused phrases ('Here's the thing', 'Let that sink in'), formulaic sentence structures, and repetitive habits like always using three examples or ending sections with punchy one-liners. The skill also includes a 1-10 scoring system across five dimensions—directness, rhythm, trust, authenticity, and density—with a threshold of 35/50 before revising. Available on GitHub under MIT license.
