AWS Transform has added new agentic migration assessment capabilities including what-if scenario modeling, customizable assumptions (region, resource utilization, service mapping), and expanded TCO analysis. The tool now supports multiple input formats such as RVTools exports, CMDB data, and third-party discovery tool outputs. Cost modeling covers EC2, FSx, S3, SQL Server on EC2, and virtual desktops. Assessments can also incorporate Cloud Value Framework pillars like staff productivity, operational resilience, business agility, and sustainability. These features are available in all AWS regions where AWS Transform is offered.
