Key highlights include 744B total parameters (MoE architecture with 40B active), a 200K token context window, and notably the lowest hallucination rate among tested models. The model supports agentic multi-step task execution, multimodal inputs, and web search. Demos showcase building interactive educational courses, a custom mobile OS concept, physics simulations, financial spreadsheets, terrain map generators, and a 2D platformer game — all from minimal prompts. GLM5 is free to try on ZhipuAI's chat platform, open-sourced on Hugging Face, and available via API at ~$9/month, significantly cheaper than competitors.
