Type: history
Even better: history | grep -n “your-string” if you type lots of commands, but usually just history will probably be enough.
Next since your cursor is on the line already, you scroll to the command you want and highlight it with your mouse and rightclick… and bam that like totally populates the command dude, then you just hit enter and OMG it will change…the…directory… just like that, without installing anything.
Or, you know, we can all just save time and type cd [one letter][tab][tab]… enter, like we’ll all continue doing anyway.

cd stands for “change directory,” which makes sense. Now, what does that stand for in Z?

just use proper IDE, vscode or intellij and then you never need to type cd ever again
