The Loadout, a UK-based gaming website founded in October 2019 by Network N Media, has shut down. Former deputy editor Jamie Hore confirmed that July 8 was the team's last day. The site, initially focused on esports but later covering console games, had eight full-time employees at its peak. The closure affects four permanent staff members, following layoffs at the end of 2023.
