<p>TL;DR: They got DDoS’d, posted on Reddit, got that onto HN and maybe LinkedIn and the publicity got the CEO involved… Netlify’s accounts team usually charges 20% of such a bill but reduced that to 5% for the OP, then the CEO dismissed all charges. Huge PR “scandal” is going to cost Netlify more than 104k from the fallout.</p>


<p>yes it is a scandal, that they still didn’t resolve that issues but students have no choice on their beginning need launch starting/school projects here.</p>
