.NET MAUI 11 Preview: Exciting Features and Avalonia Support

.NET 11 Preview is now available, and the All-in-One .NET MAUI Templates Pack (v9.0+) has been updated to support it. A major highlight is the new Avalonia backend for .NET MAUI, which uses Skia to render drawn controls, enabling the same MAUI codebase to target Linux and WebAssembly in addition to existing platforms. The templates pack now includes CLI and Visual Studio extension support for creating .NET MAUI 11 projects with Avalonia integration via the `--avalonia` flag. New options include Linux and Wasm target platforms, XAML C# Expressions (experimental), and updated framework parameters. Known limitations include no Hybrid app support for Drawn UI, broken PushModal navigation in WebAssembly, and missing MAUI essential services.
