SAP has embedded Berlin-based n8n inside Joule Studio as the AI orchestration layer for its Autonomous Enterprise platform, announced at Sapphire. The deal doubles n8n's valuation to $5.2 billion, making it Germany's most valuable AI company. n8n connects SAP's 200+ AI agents to non-SAP systems via a visual workflow canvas with 1,000+ integrations, running on SAP's Business Technology Platform so data stays within the customer's environment. General availability is planned for Q3 2026. n8n operates under a fair-code licence, has 183,000 GitHub stars, 230,000 active users, 3,000+ enterprise customers, and $40M ARR growing 10x year-on-year. The partnership gives n8n distribution to SAP's 300,000 enterprise customers and positions it as the default orchestration layer between AI agents and business systems — a gap neither Zapier nor Make had filled at the enterprise level.
