My Obsidian Note-Taking Workflow

TIL: You need a workflow to take notes.

I find these kinds of posts serve mostly to get ideas on the use cases and potential of Obsidian (and other tools like it). Don’t get me wrong, I love Obsidian but like my primitive brain I only use 2% of its potential, but man,… some of these witness accounts seem like a real job and much like those endless vim configuration tutorials,… it’s never really your style especially when you have to fit wrap it around someone else’s framework.
My personal story: I moved from pen and paper to notepad++ to OneNote to Obsidian and even when my preferred note taking is made analog, the only real (let’s be honest) way to retrieve your notes is if they are digitized and searchable, hence Obsidian (and the like).
My advice: stick with what works and start with vanilla Obsidian and work from there.

The Notebook LM from google is the way to go but you cant really use notebook lm as a notetaking app it needs to be well integrated into a note taking app
