My journey to Golang

Hi from another Go beginner. I just finished a Udemy course covering the fundamentals which I found very well structured and great to get started with Go.
I guess I’ll take this newly gained knowledge, simply start building something and keep learning and improving from there.
My first impression is that I’m probably going to loke this language.

Good luck with your journey. First I touched go 2.5 years ago and I went through project based approach. I learned much during that period and this book was go to for that period, unfortunately I didn’t use it afterwards (I am financier) and forgot things.

What? you couldn’t find a PDF version?
What do you do if you need to find something quickly? Ctrl+F doesn’t work on paper.

Go isn’t perfect, but is a very sane programming language and has one of the best standard libraries and dev tooling in the industry. It’s so easy to have formatting, LSP, testing, debugging, compiling, and deploying with it.
