Arc is a new browser client developed by The Browser Company. The onboarding process is visually pleasing and allows you to import bookmarks. The browser has a unique sidebar and a built-in search overlay. It has a learning curve but offers new ideas on web interaction.

My first thoughts and experiences with the Arc browser

One thing this gets wrong is Spaces. They are not replacements for your bookmark folders. Think of them as more like Profiles; you can be signed into your work accounts in one, personal accounts in another, etc. Also, there are actual folders available in a given Space…
And yes, learning to navigate takes time. I also highly recommend letting the sidebar auto-hide as this gives you literally a full screen of browser real estate. No top bar, no side bars, just a thin bezel the whole way around.
Last, Arc is my daily driver, but as a web-app dev, IntelliJ runs Chrome for my work stuff. I actually kind of like this because it means I can keep my Chrome install very bare-bones while installing all of my normal extensions in Arc.

I really like the browser and decided to make it my default browser. Very nice concepts and it feels new and different to all other browsers. The only downside is the device emulation in the dev tools is not working yet on windows. I am sure this will be fixed in near future.
