The editor offers features like focus mode, syntax highlighting for parts of speech, MDX component embedding, smart image handling, and auto-detection of blog content. It supports both markdown and MDX files, includes a command palette, and provides a distraction-free writing experience separate from traditional IDEs. While some features like component imports and prop type handling need refinement, the tool is actively maintained by an indie developer and available via Homebrew.
