A recent Microsoft update (March 10) has broken Microsoft account sign-ins in Windows 11 versions 24H2 and 25H2. Affected users of OneDrive, Office, Teams Free, and Microsoft 365 Copilot see a false 'no internet connection' error. Entra ID (Azure AD) business accounts are unaffected. A device restart while online may temporarily resolve the issue, but Microsoft warns restarting without internet can trigger the problem again. Microsoft says a fix will be released within days, likely as another out-of-band update — continuing a pattern of post-Patch-Tuesday emergency fixes that has plagued Windows updates throughout early 2026.
