A CloudBolt survey of 302 IT decision-makers reveals that 88% still find Broadcom's VMware acquisition disruptive two years later. Price increases remain the top concern (89% of respondents), with 14% reporting costs doubling and 85% worried about future hikes. Other major pain points include uncertainty about Broadcom's plans, support quality concerns, the shift from perpetual licenses to subscriptions, and forced product bundling. While some customers reported price increases up to 1,000%, the survey shows more modest increases, with most experiencing hikes between 24-49%.
