Ubuntu 26.04 LTS (Resolute Raccoon) is receiving new Yaru-themed icons for two of its new default apps. The system monitor app Resources gets a redesigned round icon conforming to Yaru's shape templates, replacing the upstream icon used in the beta. The new default video player Showtime also receives a recoloured Yaru icon based on the old Totem icon. Resources is part of the minimal install, while Showtime is only included in the expanded install option. Users already testing Ubuntu 26.04 can get the new icons via a standard apt update.
