I am not sure how they would be sustainable when almost all other monitoring services already provide SSL checks as part of their uptime monitoring services!
These days mostly we rely on either LetsEncrypt or LoadBalancer auto SSL which makes SSL auto-renewal a breeze, so it would be hard do justify importance of only SSL monitoring as stand-alone app!

Uptime Kuma is better than this as it not only checks you SSL certificates expiry dates but also checks your sites availablity and shows data in graphical formats.
