Glow Up Games, the studio known for 'Insecure: The Come Up Game,' is closing down after struggling to overcome long-standing challenges. The studio, established in 2019, aimed to celebrate Black and brown joy. This closure adds to a trend as other studios like Ubisoft's San Francisco and Osaka branches, as well as indie developer Sweet Bandits, also shut down recently. Layoffs were also reported at People Can Fly, Deck Nine, IGN, and GamesIndustry.
