MIT School of Engineering highlights faculty awards received in fall 2025. Honorees include Hal Abelson receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award from Open Education Global, Pulkit Agrawal and Kevin Chen both receiving the IROS Toshio Fukuda Young Professional Award for robotics contributions, Dina Katabi elected to the National Academy of Medicine for AI-based remote health monitoring, Muriel Médard receiving the IEEE Richard W. Hamming Medal for network coding and information theory, and several others recognized for work spanning semiconductor devices, pharmaceutical sciences, environmental engineering, and AI research.
