Migrating content from WordPress to Craft CMS has historically been a tedious task, but a new CLI command called wp-import simplifies this process. This command imports a wide range of WordPress content including users, posts, pages, categories, tags, media, custom post types, and custom taxonomies. It supports various ACF field types and Gutenberg block types. The tool is available as a Composer package for Craft CMS 5.5 or later. Additionally, a new project starter tailored for WordPress developers has been introduced, alongside a knowledge base to help new users get accustomed to Craft CMS.
