Microsoft has released linux-msft-wsl-6.18.20.1, updating the WSL2 kernel from the Linux 6.6 LTS series to the current Linux 6.18 LTS series. The jump allows Microsoft to drop several out-of-tree patches, including those for VirtIO PMEM support. The new kernel also enables F2FS and ExFAT file-system support, ANON_VMA_NAME, CAN bus options, joystick interface, and USB monitor support. The ARM64 build now limits itself to FAT support only.
