Microsoft has agreed to pay $250 million to settle a lawsuit filed by Swedish pension fund AP7, which alleged that former Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick rushed the $68.7 billion sale to Microsoft to avoid fallout from sexual harassment allegations. The settlement is subject to court approval. Notably, both Microsoft and AP7 acknowledge in the filing that allegations of systemic workplace misconduct at Activision were never substantiated in court, and that the California Civil Rights Department fully withdrew its related claims.
