Microsoft Teams introduces threaded conversations in public preview, allowing users to create organized discussion threads within channels. Unlike Slack, Teams requires channel owners to choose between posts or threads layout for each channel. The feature includes a followed threads view for tracking important conversations and the ability to send thread updates back to the main channel. Teams also adds support for multiple emoji reactions per message and improved slash commands for GIF searches.
