Microsoft's Copilot just became the productivity collaborator it was promised to be

Microsoft has made Copilot agentic by default across Microsoft 365, meaning it can now perform in-app actions in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint rather than just responding in a chat interface. Early user data shows significant improvements: Excel engagement up 67% and satisfaction up 65%, with Word and PowerPoint also seeing gains. The rollout begins today for Copilot, Premium, Personal, and Family plan subscribers.
