Microsoft rolls out big Copilot upgrades

Microsoft has announced new Copilot features including 'Critique', which uses both OpenAI's GPT and Anthropic's Claude simultaneously — GPT generates responses while Claude reviews them for accuracy. A second feature called 'Council' lets users compare outputs from different AI models side-by-side. Microsoft is also expanding access to Copilot Cowork, its agentic AI tool, to Frontier programme members. These updates come as Microsoft's stock heads for its worst quarter since 2008, down nearly 25%, amid waning investor optimism around AI.
