Microsoft, NVIDIA, and Anthropic formed strategic partnerships to scale Claude AI models on Azure infrastructure. Anthropic committed $30 billion for Azure compute capacity and up to 1 gigawatt with NVIDIA Grace Blackwell and Vera Rubin systems. Claude models, including Sonnet 4.5, Opus 4.1, and Haiku 4.5, will be available on Azure AI Foundry, making Claude accessible across all three major cloud platforms. NVIDIA and Anthropic will collaborate on optimizing models and hardware architectures. Microsoft and NVIDIA are investing up to $5 billion and $10 billion respectively in Anthropic, while Claude will remain integrated across Microsoft's Copilot family including GitHub Copilot.
