Microsoft released Azure DevOps MCP Server in public preview, enabling GitHub Copilot to interact with Azure DevOps project data through natural language commands within VS Code. The tool runs locally as a Node.js service, allowing developers to query, create, and update work items, pull requests, builds, and other project data without leaving their IDE. Currently limited to Azure DevOps Services with GitHub Copilot Business or Enterprise licenses, it ensures data security by keeping all information local to the developer's network.
