Microsoft has made computer use in Copilot Studio generally available across all commercial geographies in Microsoft Power Platform. These computer-using agents can navigate live UIs using vision and reasoning — enabling automation of legacy systems, vendor portals, and proprietary platforms that lack APIs. Unlike brittle selector-based scripts, the agents adapt to UI changes. A real-world example from Graebel shows the agent reading emails, extracting structured data, and operating a legacy system's UI directly. The platform integrates with Power Platform's existing governance and security framework, and now supports model selection from both OpenAI and Anthropic. Human-in-the-loop escalation is built in for exceptions.
