Meta is transferring React and React Native to the Linux Foundation, which will establish the React Foundation to govern these widely-used JavaScript UI libraries. Im not too sure but i think this is great! It means it will move more slowly i think, like for example HTML and Javascript move. But i also think everybody enjoys something they are using not being owned by Meta.

now they will rewrite it in rust and cause fracture in the community and now we will see more drama than updates

This is good in sense of tech, but I also think there is something big coming up like if all major open source projects will be under one roof, the country can ban or restrict other ones to not use the tech easily.
