Meta AI's new framework, Collaborative Reasoner (Coral), is designed to enhance and evaluate the collaborative reasoning skills of large language models (LLMs). Coral reformulates reasoning tasks into multi-agent dialogues to test consensus-reaching through social interactions. The framework includes synthetic self-dialogues and tailored evaluation metrics, and is supported by the high-performance Matrix infrastructure. Initial results show significant gains in collaborative tasks, though challenges remain in certain domains like complex mathematics.
