Meshery v1.0 has reached general availability, launching at KubeCon EU 2026 as a governance-first cloud native management platform. The release introduces 'Infrastructure as Design,' treating infrastructure as a shared visual artifact. Key features include Kanvas Designer (GA), a drag-and-drop visual design interface for versioning and diffing infrastructure, and Kanvas Operator (beta) for real-time multi-cluster and multi-cloud management. The platform supports over 300 CNCF integrations, has restructured its GitHub organization, and launched the first CNCF contributor certification program. Meshery ranks as the sixth highest-velocity CNCF project with over 3,000 contributors and 10,000 GitHub stars.
