Remix and React Router are merging into React Router v7, offering all the features of Remix to React Router users. Current Remix users should continue using Remix and switch to React Router v7 when it's released. The upgrade process will involve changing imports, and codemods and guides will be provided for a smooth transition.

<p>Remix was one of the last things I actually had fun working with. And yes, Remix was very close in functionality to React Router and some of the ideas from Remix were later added to React Router. They became even closer when Remix essentially became a Vite plugin, so this looks like a good decision to merge everything from Remix into React Router.</p>
<p>I’m excited about this change and can’t wait to see what’s next for Remix packages!</p>
