Menlo Security has launched a Browser Security Platform designed to secure AI agents operating in cloud environments. The platform provides a dedicated cloud computing environment where AI agents can securely access applications via a browser, converting legacy application UIs into machine-readable data for agents. It enforces least privilege access via the Menlo Secure Application Access framework, separates instructions from data to prevent prompt injection, and collects DOM-level telemetry for real-time session monitoring. The company's CISO warns that AI agents represent a high-value attack target with a much wider blast radius than human users, and urges security teams to harden guardrails now before an inevitable incident occurs.
