Cursor 3 is a new interface built from scratch, centered around AI agents for software development. Key features include a unified multi-workspace layout for running multiple local and cloud agents in parallel, seamless handoff between local and cloud environments, an integrated browser, a plugin marketplace with MCP support, and a new diffs view for reviewing and merging PRs. The interface is separate from the VS Code-based Cursor IDE but allows switching back at any time. Cursor also ships Composer 2, a frontier coding model with high usage limits for fast iteration.
