Unlike general-purpose coding assistants, Gordon has full awareness of your local Docker environment — running containers, images, volumes, Compose files, and logs — and can take action on your behalf with explicit approval. Key use cases include debugging failing containers, containerizing new apps, optimizing Dockerfiles, and managing Docker resources. Every action requires user approval before execution, permissions reset per session, and no code or personal data is stored. Gordon is free with any Docker account, with paid tiers offering 2x to 20x capacity ($20–$200/mo).
