godman is a small tool that helps you install and manage Godot Engine builds.
It is made with .NET 10 and it works on Windows and Linux.
The code is free and it uses the MIT license.

<h2>What problem it solves</h2>
Getting the right Godot version is usually easy.
But after a while you can end up with many zip files and many folders.
Then it is easy to forget where each version is.
I started digging into GDExtensions and I often needed more Godot versions for testing.
I like the terminal and I wanted a simple workflow.
Install a version, activate it, and run Godot with the command <code>godot</code>.
godman keeps a registry of your installs and lets you switch the active one any time.
It also sets GODOT_HOME and creates a shim so you can run Godot from the terminal.

<h2>Why I built it</h2>
I wanted a fast and predictable way to manage Godot versions for daily work.
This tool is also a nice way to keep projects consistent across machines.
