Meet DeepSeek Chat, China’s latest ChatGPT rival with a 67B model

DeepSeek AI has launched its own conversational AI offering called DeepSeek Chat, which utilizes 7B and 67B-parameter DeepSeek LLMs. These models have been trained on a dataset of 2 trillion tokens in English and Chinese and have shown strong performance in various evaluations. DeepSeek has open-sourced the models and permits commercial usage under certain terms. However, there have been reports of censorship issues with the model's responses.
