After dozens of hours of playing with ChatGPT and using it as a STARTING point (never trust it implicitly) to help direct my research, I find your top three points to be particularly clutch, and I agree completely. The unfortunate consequence of having to feed the AI such a long-winded prompt certain limits its utility, but you can also mitigate some of this by using variants of the AI tuned more for specific topics, tasks, or even temperaments.
